Research Interests

Research topics in Organic Semiconducting Materials research Laboratory (OSMRL) include,

1. structural-property relationship of organic semiconductors

2. morphology study of polymer solar cell and polymer light-emitting diodes

3. flexible polymer solar cell

We synthesize both p-type and n-type materials in lab to investigate the optoelectronic properties of these materials and also relationship between molecular structure and their morphology. Currently, we are working on morphology of p-type materials and its connection to solar cell performance, especially in photocurrent generation. In addition, phase separation behavior studies by fluorescence spectroscopy are also under evaluation in lab.
